Going headless, when it's worth it
Headless is powerful and oversold in equal measure. Two notes on when the trade is actually worth making.
1. Headless isn't free
Splitting the front-end from the back-end buys flexibility and costs complexity — more moving parts, more to host, more to reason about. Take it when you have a real reason, not because it's fashionable.
2. Cache like you mean it
A headless storefront lives or dies on its caching layer. Decide early what's static, what's dynamic, and how pages get rebuilt — before real traffic forces the question for you.
