AI automation that pays off
AI is most useful where it's least glamorous. Two notes on putting it to work without betting the business on it.
1. Automate the boring, not the hard
The real wins are in repetitive, rule-ish work — tagging, routing, drafting, summarizing. Point AI there first. The hard judgment calls are exactly where it disappoints and where people still earn their keep.
2. Keep a human in the loop
For anything that touches money, customers, or data, let AI draft and a person approve. You get most of the speed without staking the business on a confident wrong answer.
